Bert and Rikkia go to work
Our twelfth run took two vehicles and a full load of aid from Horsted Keynes and Forest Row to Ukraine, handed over in person to the medical brigade and the orphanage we support.
What we delivered
- Bert, a Land Rover, now working with the Third Army Corps
- Rikkia, a Kia, now with front-line medics
- Aid from the summer appeal: children's clothes, winter coats, art supplies and car tools
30 September 2026. Both vehicles we took over in August have reached the front line. Rikkia is having some minor repairs before getting back to work. Bert is working hard with the Third Army Corps, helping transport medics to support and, if necessary, remove injured soldiers from the front line.
