Keep the wheels turning

Every trip costs money before a single coat is handed over. Your gift pays for the journey, so donated vehicles and supplies reach the people who need them.

Quickest

Give by card or PayPal

Through our PayPal fundraiser. You don't need a PayPal account to pay by card. Choose any amount.

The fundraiser is in Morgan's name, one of our team, while we set up a Weald Aid bank account. Every penny goes to the trip, and you can see the total on the page.

Trip 13 appeal

Our thirteenth run to the orphanage, the front-line medics and the animal rescues we support. Fuel, crossings and vehicle repairs come first, so every gift gets the next load moving.

What it's for

  • Fuel and tolls for the 1,500-mile drive to Kyiv
  • The Channel crossing for every vehicle
  • Servicing and repairs so the vehicles survive the journey and the front line
  • Winter coats and children's clothes for the orphanage

We're aiming to leave early in the new year. Everything we take stays in Ukraine: the vehicles, and everything packed inside them.

What your money pays for

  • Fuel and tolls for the 1,500-mile drive to Kyiv.
  • The Channel crossing for every vehicle and driver.
  • Buying the right vehicles: found and tested by the team, when a donated one isn't available.
  • Preparing the vehicles: work for the climate and terrain, and kitting them out inside for evacuations, rescues and medical supplies.
  • Buying to order: the specific things our partners ask for that do not come in as donations.

Run by volunteers

Nobody at Weald Aid is paid. The team gives its own time and drives the vehicles itself, so your gift goes on getting aid to Ukraine.

Want to know where your money went? Ask us, or follow the trip log.

After you've given

Tell us about your gift

A bank transfer reaches us with little more than a name, so we can't always tell who to thank. Let us know here and we'll email you to say thank you and confirm the amount we received.

That also gives you the chance to spot a mistake, like an extra zero. If something's wrong, tell us within 7 days and we'll refund it. See our terms.

How did you give?
